extraordinary-life

The power to live an extraordinary life is not defined by anything other than your willingness and desire to step out of the ordinary. Be daring and develop a vision of what is on the other side. Step into the unknown and live an extraordinary life.

no-plan-b

Work like there’s no plan B. Adapt, Adjust and continue your journey. Plan B could be a distraction and become your excuse.

Gratitude is the most powerful connection you have with your higher self. Start each day giving thanks for everything you have. The moment you open your eyes in the morning it’s an opportunity to start anew; it’s an opportunity, right then and there to seize the day.

Everyone has goals, aspirations, plans and wants. Everyone is looking for something different, perhaps something better. Everyone believes that somewhere out there there’s something to be claimed. Everyone is looking for their own pot of gold.

Everyone sets a goal because they believe that reaching this goal is the key to something. Everyone believes that opportunity awaits if only they reach this goal. Everyone thinks this. Well, at least they should.

“Thought For Today Monday, November 28, 2016

img_1222It has been stated that upwards of 75% of all changed in our lives has been thrust upon us; we’ve had very little if any choice in the matter. Unfortunately most, if not all of this change is unwanted. We must work daily understanding that change is inevitable. We must work daily on being a catalyst for positive change in our lives.

Happy Monday

Wednesday’s Thought ~ Integrity

“It’s not what we eat but what we digest that makes us strong; not what we gain but what we save that makes us rich; not what we read but what we remember that makes us learned; and not what we profess but what we practice that gives us integrity.” ~ Francis Bacon

According to Wikipedia, Integrity can be defined “as a concept that has to do with consistency of actions, values, methods, principles, expectations and outcome.  Some people see integrity as the quality of having a common sense of honesty and truthfulness in regards to the motivations for one’s actions.”

So why are we having so much trouble finding integrity today?  Is there to much flexibility and where does the line cross between flexibility and lack of integrity?

In order to have integrity you must first have values.  When those values are compromised to be flexible (and you know when that happens because you feel sick inside), is when you have crossed the line.  You now lack integrity.

According to William P., Life Coach, “… flexibility is having the freedom and willingness to operate within a healthy and ethical set of boundries in order to achieve a common goal.”

“Lack of Integrity”, he continues “is consistently seeing how far beyond those parameters one can venture without getting a wrist slap.”

“One is from a place of freedom and respect, the other is from a place of self serving and lack of honoring themselves or anyone around them.”

Francis Bacon, (22 January 1561 – 9 April 1626) was an English philosopher, statesman, scientist, lawyer, jurist and author. He served both as Attorney General and Lord Chancellor of England. Although his political career ended in disgrace, he remained extremely influential through his works, especially as philosophical advocate and practitioner of the scientific revolution. His dedication brought him into a rare historical group of scientists who were killed by their own experiments.
