extraordinary-life

The power to live an extraordinary life is not defined by anything other than your willingness and desire to step out of the ordinary. Be daring and develop a vision of what is on the other side. Step into the unknown and live an extraordinary life.

no-plan-b

Work like there’s no plan B. Adapt, Adjust and continue your journey. Plan B could be a distraction and become your excuse.

Gratitude is the most powerful connection you have with your higher self. Start each day giving thanks for everything you have. The moment you open your eyes in the morning it’s an opportunity to start anew; it’s an opportunity, right then and there to seize the day.

Everyone has goals, aspirations, plans and wants. Everyone is looking for something different, perhaps something better. Everyone believes that somewhere out there there’s something to be claimed. Everyone is looking for their own pot of gold.

Everyone sets a goal because they believe that reaching this goal is the key to something. Everyone believes that opportunity awaits if only they reach this goal. Everyone thinks this. Well, at least they should.

BE

“Be understanding to your perceived enemies.
Be loyal to your friends.
Be strong enough to face the world each day.
Be weak enough to know you cannot do everything alone.
Be generous enough to those who need your help.”

“Be frugal with what you need the most.
Be wise enough to know that you do not know everything.
Be foolish enough to believe in miracles.
Be willing to share your joys.
Be willing to share the sorrows of others.”

“Be a leader when you see a path others have missed.
Be a follower when you are shrouded by the mists of uncertainty.
Be first to congratulate an opponent who succeeds.
Be last to criticize a colleague who fails.
Be sure where your next step will fall, so that you will not tumble.”

“Be sure of your final destination, in case you are going the wrong way.
Be loving to those who love you.
Be loving to those who do not love you; they may change.
Above all… BE yourself.”

Serenity, Courage and Wisdom

Here’s an often quoted prayer that I find myself repeating quiet often…

“Lord grant me
The Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The Courage to change the things I can,
And the Wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;
Taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it:

Trusting that You will make all things right
If I surrender to Your will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
And supremely happy with You forever in the next.”

Like most people, I struggle with things I cannot control.  It is natural to become frustrated when things affect you that are beyond your reach.  That is why praying for serenity is so very important.
